The venue as it currently exists underwent significant transformation, officially launching as a dedicated creative arts and entertainment space in July 2021 under the direction of Brighton Pride CIC. 

This reinvention aimed to establish a versatile hub in the heart of the city's North Laine, providing a platform for a wide array of performances and events. 

While its former industrial use speaks to the area's working-class past, its current iteration as Ironworks Studios signifies a commitment to fostering the arts and celebrating Brighton's diverse creative spirit. 

The venue quickly became home to established events like Stephen Grant's Forge Comedy Club, highlighting its dedication to bringing quality entertainment to the city.

Ironworks Studios hosts a diverse and exciting programme of events, firmly establishing itself as a key cultural hub in Brighton. 

Comedy is a regular feature, with established comedy nights like Stephen Grant's Forge Comedy Club showcasing both renowned and up-and-coming comedians. 

Music lovers can enjoy a wide range of genres, from live bands and solo artists to DJ sets and club nights. 

 Furthermore, Ironworks Studios embraces cabaret, burlesque, and drag shows, adding a touch of glamour and alternative entertainment to its offerings.

The Space

Ironworks Studios is committed to being an accessible venue for all patrons. 

The multipurpose space offers wheelchair entry to both of its main areas, which feature a flat layout and a mix of polished concrete and laminate wood flooring.

Accessible toilets are available within the Studio. 

The venue is assistance dog friendly and they also offer free Personal Assistant (PA) tickets for those who require support.

Patrons with specific access requirements are encouraged to contact the venue in advance to discuss their needs and ensure a comfortable visit.
